About North Point

North Point Technology, LLC, was founded in 2002 by Lisa W. Lee and Robert P. Lee, P.E., with a basic mission: Provide the highest quality service possible in systems integration, automation engineering and industrial controls. 

We employ a staff of highly specialized engineers with expertise in a wide variety of industries and applications. Our current administration and operations staff have executive level experience in Fortune 500 corporations involved in high tech manufacturing and engineering.

We value and promote hard work, ingenuity, creativity, strong client partnerships, and good business ethics.

Our Facility and Equipment

Our office is located in the Columbia Ridge Office Park at 520 Columbia Drive in Johnson City, New York. This facility includes meeting, lab, and traditional office spaces as well as secure storage areas. The building and our suite both maintain several levels of security.

The location is easily accessible from the Interstate 86 / Route 17 and Interstate 81 Highway Systems. It is within 7 miles of the Broome County Airport and within an hour of several other major regional airports. We enjoy close proximity to the Triple Cities of Binghamton, Johnson City, and Endicott, which is also called The Greater Binghamton area. See “Life in Upstate New York” for more information about our area.

Resources and tools provided by and maintained for our office include

• Dedicated and mixed use CAD stations (running AutoCAD Electrical 2016)

• Specialized test kits (including Fluke 787 and 789 process meters)

• SCADA software*

• Extra computer gear to support web conferencing, testing with PLC and HMI components, and administrative tasks

Note that North Point does not operate a panel shop, but we work closely with a number of area suppliers of such services, who will build to our designs.  All of the panel shops we use provide quality workmanship in keeping with our own high standards.
